Abandoned Chairs is an independent documentary photography project focused on discarded furniture found in public spaces. The series explores how everyday objects lose their place in our lives while remaining part of the city's changing landscape.

Project Overview
The project began with a simple observation: chairs left on the streets, no longer wanted in their previous homes but potentially useful to someone else. By walking through different urban neighborhoods, I documented these objects exactly as I found them, without staging or rearranging the scenes. The series explores abandonment, everyday consumption, and the quiet possibility of a new beginning.
Challenge
The main challenge was finding abandoned chairs in unpredictable urban environments. Unlike staged photography, the process depended on chance encounters and careful observation. Rather than searching for perfect compositions, I focused on documenting each chair in its original surroundings, preserving the authenticity of the moment.

Results
The result is a series of nine documentary photographs capturing abandoned chairs across different urban settings. Each image presents an ordinary object with an unknown past and an uncertain future, inviting viewers to reflect on the things we leave behind and the possibility that something unwanted by one person may still hold value for another.
